Shipping, Returns & Warranty

Comfortable Coast requires a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to be issued before accepting a return or replacement. Once the returned item is counted and inspected at our warehouse, credit or refund will be issued.

Return Guidelines

  1. Subjective Returns:

    • A 35% restocking fee will apply to returns initiated due to subjective reasons such as dissatisfaction with color, feel, or quality.
    • Customers are responsible for pre-paying return shipping for such items.
  2. Defective or Damaged Items:

    • Returns for manufacturing defects are eligible for a full refund, excluding delivery charges. To qualify:
      • Customers must email sales@comfortablecoast.com within 24 hours of delivery with evidence of the defect.
      • If the item was damaged during transit, customers must either reject delivery upon inspection or notify Comfortable Coast within 24 hours of delivery, providing photographic evidence of the damage.
  3. Return Conditions:

    • Returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase.
    • All returned items must be in original packaging and like-new condition. Items showing visible damage, signs of use (e.g., pet hair, stains), or misuse will not be accepted.
    • Refunds for eligible items will exclude delivery charges and a 2.5% credit card processing fee for purchases made with debit or credit cards.
  4. Refund Process:

    • Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5 business days.
    • Depending on your card issuer’s policies, it may take up to 5 additional business days for the refund to appear.
  5. Non-Refundable Items:

    • Mattresses are non-returnable unless structurally defective. Proof of defect must be sent to sales@comfortablecoast.com within 12 hours of delivery.
  6. Order Cancellations:

    • Orders canceled after being loaded with our delivery partner or en route will incur a $119 delivery fee, even if the order qualifies for free delivery.
    • Missed deliveries will require a second delivery fee for rescheduling.

DAMAGED ITEMS:

In the event of damage during transit or manufacturing defects:

  • Inspect the item upon delivery. If damage is visible, reject the delivery and notify the shipping company.
  • If damage is discovered after delivery, email sales@comfortablecoast.com within 24 hours, including photos of the damage.
  • If the item is available, replacements will be sent within 5 business days.

WARRANTY POLICY

Comfortable Coast provides a 6-month warranty beginning from the date of delivery. All warranty claims must adhere to Marketplace RMA guidelines to qualify for after-sales services. EXCEPT FOR THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY, COMFORTABLE COAST MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING THE PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS AGREEMENT OR ANY AGREEMENT WITH THE CUSTOMER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR AGAINST INFRINGEMENT. CUSTOMER HEREBY WAIVES ANY CLAIM (INCLUDING ANY CLAIM BASED ON STRICT OR ABSOLUTE LIABILITY IN TORT) THAT IT MAY HAVE AGAINST COMFORTABLE COAST FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE OR EXPENSE CAUSED BY THE PRODUCTS.

Warranty Coverage:

  • In the event of manufacturing defects, buyers may request one of the following within the warranty period:
    • Refund
    • Partial reshipment
    • Full reshipment

Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty policy does not apply to the following situations:

  1. Damage Caused by External Factors:
    • Negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or natural disasters and accidents (e.g., burns, cuts, tears, abrasions, scratches, watermarks, indentations, or pet damage).
  2. Unauthorized Modifications:
    • Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, unless expressly approved in writing by Comfortable Coast.
  3. Non-Marketplace Purchases:
    • Products not purchased through Comfortable Coast or the associated Marketplace.
  4. Independent Warranty Policies:
    • Products covered by their own individual warranty policies.

RMA Fraud Policy:

  • If RMA fraud is detected, Comfortable Coast reserves the right to refuse the claim and reject all future RMA requests from the same buyer.
